ABOUT THE AUTHOR By Cousin Ralph

Some things are inexplicable.  How did this goofy guy get lucky enough to marry T.L.L. (The Lovely Lida)?  And, how did he manage to write an interesting book that more or less makes sense?

This is a man brain damaged from working over twenty years in the Federal government.  His hobbies further eroded his mind.  Straining to win chess tournaments he would routinely leave sawdust all over the floor.

In line with his tendency to do things backwards, he became more athletic as he got older.  In his late thirties he took up rugby football, which got him whacked in the head a number of times.  In his forties, he became a river  kayaker and achieved notoriety as the worlds foremost practitioner of the impromptu whitewater swim.  His time spent upside down under water gave him new insight into bureaucracy.

He currently works as an abstract digital artist and photographer.  It’s the perfect career for him as it does not require you to think straight.  In fact, it works better if you go off in all directions and call it creativity.
